Rentsync users are an opinionated bunch and we can't get enough! When you reach out to us to give suggestions, ask what else can be added to a tool or feature, or even provide examples of frustrating interactions, we pay attention.
Here are the updates we made to the Rentsync Platform in the last month that are a direct result of you, the very reason why we do what we do!

Rentsync Tours User Experience Improvements
We've taken our user feedback and turned it into awesome improvements in our Rentsync Tours tool. It's quite the list, so buckle up!
- Adding a new tour manually: You can now fill out the custom form fields that are preset in form settings, so your manual tour additions have all the information you need.
- 'Tour Type' changed to 'Tour Location': Select from 'Property', 'Virtual' or 'Other'. The "Other" location option allows you to set a different address for your prospect to attend their tour at. The best use case for this is for lease-up properties that are still within their initial building stages, but have a dedicated leasing office to showcase their units and property features.
- Send a virtual tour link in your automated email responder: If you have a virtual tour link available for a particular unit, you can include the link in your email auto-responders by using the interpolation key: [[virtual_tour_link]] . This is great for when you'd like a prospect to view the property before seeing it in person, to pre-qualify themselves, or if an in-person tour isn't available. No delays = faster lease signings!
- Two New Tour Statuses: We've created these new statuses based on our users' needs as they've dug into using our Tours Tool: "Unknown" and "Not Interested". As a bonus, we've set it up so that any tour that is 15 days past its booked tour date will automatically change its status to "Unknown", to reflect improved accuracy in the tour's status list.
- * Most Requested * Update Tour Status via email: Once a confirmed status tour has passed its appointment time, an email will be sent to the assigned agent within a couple of hours, prompting them to update the tour status. Tour statuses can be changed directly in the email and will be updated in the Rentsync Platform!
- Text & Email Preset Translations: French translations have been added to all default Tour Responses. If a prospect chooses 'French' on their booking form, French responses will automatically be sent to them! You can also add your own custom translation text in French, Spanish and Chinese languages.
- Quick View Prospect Info on Calendar View: Bookings on the agent calendar have been updated to display the prospect's name and contact info. You can utilize the calendar as a quick & efficient way to view the important info in your day-to-day tour appointments!
New/Changed Functionality
We do our best to anticipate the steps you require in your day-to-day use of the Rentsync Platform, but on occasion, you point out some gaps! Here are some adjusted or newly added functionality that will help you cover all the details you need.
- Added export option for both Selected Amenities and Units List in the Properties tool section.
- Added delete option for Post image attachments in our Website Editor tool, Posts feature.
Points were made, bugs were fixed:
- Duplicate records of Promoted Listings due to formatting
- Videos not being sent into the Kijiji feeds
- Tours users not being able to update tour statuses
- Tours users unable to select Virtual Tour 'Tour Type' option
- Tours phone number validation not working
- Content boxes in ad layouts not displaying
- Incorrect bath/bed count showing for some lead records
- Comments not being displayed on Inquiry Details page
- Property URL on Property Details page invalidating the "&" character
