Ori Apartments is a modern rental community in Ottawa designed around connection to home, neighbourhood, and city life. The property balances warmth with refinement, positioning itself as both a sanctuary and a seamless connection to urban energy.
Rentsync was engaged from the ground up to develop the name, craft the visual identity, and bring the brand to life through a polished digital experience.
Property Naming
The name Ori was chosen for its simplicity and strength. Short, distinctive, and easy to remember, it carries a modern tone without feeling trendy. Its minimal structure allows the visual identity to take center stage while still standing confidently on its own.
“Ori” suggests origin and orientation, subtly reinforcing themes of arrival, belonging, and place. It is flexible enough to support a bold visual system while remaining refined and timeless in the market.

Branding
Ori’s visual identity is expressive and intentional. The primary logo transforms the word “ori” into a vertical mark that subtly forms a figure in a doorway, capturing the feeling of arrival and welcome. It's meant to be graphic without being literal, distinctive without being over-designed.
The colour palette is grounded in earthy neutrals with refined copper accents, creating warmth layered with sophistication. This balance allows the brand to feel both organic and urban, rooted yet elevated.
Typography plays a central role in Ori’s presence. The pairing of Bodoni Moda and Instrument Sans creates confident contrast. Dramatic, expressive headlines are balanced by clean, modern body copy. The result is a typographic voice that feels editorial, elevated, and composed.
Together, these elements create a brand that feels curated, community-driven, and unmistakably distinct.


Theme Website
Ori’s website was built using Rentsync’s Filo theme, customized to amplify the brand’s expressive identity. Filo’s modular structure allowed us to lean into bold typography, dramatic scale shifts, and intentional pacing, giving the site a confident editorial feel.
The homepage opens with strong typographic statements layered over immersive photography, immediately establishing tone. Generous whitespace and controlled rhythm allow the brand elements to breathe. The copper accent appears subtly throughout, reinforcing continuity without overpowering the design.
Rather than feeling templated, the customization of Filo makes the site feel entirely bespoke. Every decision, from text hierarchy to image cropping, was guided by the core idea of elevated living grounded in connection and place.
The result is a digital experience that feels curated, composed, and design-forward.


Floorplan Navigator
To support a seamless leasing journey, Rentsync integrated the interactive Floorplan Navigator into the Ori website, fully styled to match the brand environment.
The Navigator allows prospects to explore layouts, availability, and pricing in a way that feels cohesive within the site’s visual language. For a property like Ori, where space and flow are central to the appeal, giving renters intuitive access to suite exploration increases clarity and engagement.
The tool enhances performance while preserving the integrity of the overall design, reinforcing that strong aesthetics and leasing functionality can work together without compromise.
