Recital is a multi-building residential community in Ottawa’s vibrant Sandy Hill neighbourhood, offering studios through four-bedroom suites close to UOttawa, trails, and downtown. Designed for residents seeking connection, comfort, and urban convenience, Recital required a brand and digital presence that replicated the vibrancy and social aspect of the community. 

Property Naming

The name Recital was developed to convey a sense of rhythm and community - a metaphor for life unfolding ensemble-style in rented homes, in the amenity spaces, and in the larger community surrounding the property . Its musical connotations matched a building lineup that feels both progressive and composed, while resonating with creative and academic audiences in the area. The "Acts" (I-IV) were added as a way to uniquely identify each of the four buildings while staying true to the brand identity overall. 

“Recital” was easy to say, easy to remember, and positioned the project with cultural elegance.

Branding

We crafted Recital’s visual identity to reflect its harmonious blend of modern living and neighbourhood charm. The logo pairs clean, architectural lines with a dynamic logotype that echoes musical notation and environmental rhythm. The palette is bright and alive, featuring strong neutral base-colours and a gorgeous compliment of vibrant rose and urban chamoisee.  Across print and web, the brand feels extracted, intentional, and welcoming; made to stand out without shouting.

Custom Website

Rentsync designed Recital's site to be both visually inviting and functionally efficient.

The website combines editorial-style imagery with purposeful layout pacing, guiding visitors from community narrative to suite exploration without overwhelming them. The navigation is simple and intuitive, supporting quick decision-making while embedding brand warmth throughout the experience.

Print Marketing

To complement the website and reach prospects in person, we developed a fully-branded print package. This included floorplan handouts and high-quality brochures infused with Recital’s tone and visual rhythm.

Using light-filled photography and minimalist layout, the print materials echoed the digital narrative, encouraging prospects to carry the brand story with them. Whether in-hand or at-home, these pieces reinforced the quiet elegance of the leasing experience.
